About this site

HempBotanics.com is an independent information site about hemp: the seed as a food, the stalk as a material, and the law around the plant.

Not the former shop

This domain used to belong to Hemp Botanics, a shop in London that has closed. The domain now has a new owner with no connection to that business. This site is not the shop, not its successor, and holds none of its customer records. See what happened to Hemp Botanics.

What the site does

• It reports numbers from primary sources: USDA FoodData Central for nutrition, statutes and agency pages for law, and published technical data for materials.
• Every page lists its sources at the bottom.
• It has one tool, the seed nutrition comparison, built on USDA data.

What the site does not do

• It sells nothing and takes no orders.
• It gives no medical, nutritional or legal advice.
• It does not cover CBD dosing, THC products or edibles.

Shop and supplier links

Some pages list shops or suppliers. They are listed for convenience. The site is not paid for those links. The links carry a utm_source=hempbotanics.com tag so the shop can see where a visit came from.
